Rötenbach

Rötenbach is the sixth location of the ante Group. Situated in the middle of the beautiful Black Forest, the 24-hectare site is a location with a history. Holzwerke Rötenbach used to saw timber here until 2012. After a break and temporary closure, we took over the site in 2021 and resumed operations. Modernisation is underway and should be completed by 2024. Then, as at our other sawmill sites in Bromskirchen-Somplar and Rottlebrode, sawn timber, planed timber, KVH, glulam, green electricity and pellets will be produced here. The sawmill currently has a capacity of 300,000 solid cubic metres per year. Around 60 people are employed at the site. Here, too, our maxim "wood of short distances" applies. We process spruce, fir, pine and Douglas fir from the surrounding forests. In this way, we support the region's long tradition of timber construction and ensure regional added value. The site is conveniently located directly on the B31 motorway between Löffingen and Titisee-Neustadt.
